Three wins takes JAC to the 100 customer mark as market puts trust in expertise and experience
The recent contract signings of the North Middlesex University Hospital NHS Trust, the Whittington Hospital NHS Trust and the Leicestershire Partnership NHS Trust has resulted in JAC passing the 100th customer contract mark, reinforcing JAC's position as a market leader for Medicine Management systems.
These recent contracts followed the summer signing of the States of Guernsey for JAC's fully integrated E-Prescribing and Medicine Administration (EPMA) system as part of the EPR solution being delivered by TrakHealth. In a marketplace that is increasingly looking for tangible results, the strength of recent successes coupled with a growing pipeline of opportunities gives JAC's management good reason to be optimistic about the company's future.
Almost 50% of NHS Acute Trusts in England now contract with JAC for some or all of their medicine management systems' requirements. With many Trusts now contracting for multiple sites, JAC's systems provide a range of e-prescribing, drug-stock control and pharmacy management systems at a total of 300 hospital locations throughout the UK, Ireland and South Africa.
As well as direct sales, JAC has quickly adapted to new realities in healthcare IT and has partnered successfully with Fujitsu to deliver Pharmacy systems in the Southern Cluster at Milton Keynes and with BT in London. An example of how JAC have successfully engaged with the CfH programme can be seen by the fact that seven Trusts in London have received the JAC system via their LSP to date.
As increasing numbers of Trusts look to leverage the value of their investment in pharmacy management systems as a foundation for implementing EPMA, JAC has been able to capitalise on its 25-plus years of domain expertise to deliver against high expectations. Strong business fundamentals, a rich and stable product suite backed by domain experts as well as a team of technologists highly adept at understanding the market need have been the key to building a strong foundation for growth.
Reflecting on the news, JAC's chief executive, Robert Tysall-Blay commented: "In celebrating this milestone it's important to recognise and thank all our current clients for their continued support. Strong relationships and collaboration with our customers has been integral to how far JAC has come. These factors will play an even greater role in the future evolution of the business as we increase efforts to further improve customer satisfaction and product delivery."
He went on to say: "We are delighted with the progress made on all fronts. In a market place full of mergers, acquisitions, new entrants and large multi-national corporations, it is reassuring to our clients, both present and future, to know that we will continue as a long-term partner for delivery in the highly complex, specialist and therapeutic area of Medicine Management."
