Counting the benefits
First JAC pharmacy system delivered through Fujitsu cuts costs at Milton Keynes General Hospital

Milton Keynes Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is achieving financial benefits with the implementation of JAC’s pharmacy stock control system as part of the NHS’s IT modernisation drive.

The system is the first of its kind to be delivered to a trust in partnership with Fujitsu Services and is integrated with the Trust’s Fujitsu-supplied Cerner Patient Administration System (PAS).

The success of the Milton Keynes implementation coupled with Winchester’s implementation of JAC’s ePrescribing & Medicines Administration (EPMA) system, linked to their PAS systems, means that Trusts now have a proven one-stop option for a fully integrated, Trust-wide medicines management system.

JAC calls for industry collaboration on robotic interfacing standards

Andrew Jarvis, Managing Director of JAC, has called for more collaboration between robot manufacturers, software providers and other stakeholders to reduce costs, reduce the number of potential points of failure and increase reliability.

He has proposed establishing a collaborative made up of representatives from across the industry to propose a set of standards for robotic interfacing which could be submitted to the ISB for recommendation.
Three wins takes JAC to the 100 customer mark

The recent contract signings of the North Middlesex University Hospital NHS Trust, the Whittington Hospital NHS Trust and the Leicestershire Partnership NHS Trust has resulted in JAC passing the 100th customer contract mark.

These recent contracts followed the summer signing of the States of Guernsey for JAC's fully integrated E-Prescribing and Medicine Administration (EPMA) system as part of the EPR solution being delivered by TrakHealth.
