User community The JAC National User Group (NUG) was formed in the 1980s in order to provide a forum for discussion and software development and has been very successful in producing many operating requirements for JAC.

This collaboration between JAC and its users has led to significant changes in the way the JAC system works and the functionality that is available.

The NUG consists of representatives from each of the Local User Groups (LUGs) and from JAC. The group meet regularly and discuss issues such as the future use of JAC, the future requirements of the JAC system and more immediate problems such as system support, upgrades and new installations.

Local User Groups also allow JAC to provide the latest news and information as well as demonstrate new system developments.

All users and prospective users are entitled to join the Local User Group most convenient to them. By playing an active part in the group, each user site has the opportunity to influence the features that will be blended into the system.
